Airline Prerequisite
Its imperative always to double-check with your airline to understand the prerequisites to enable you to fly to Colombia. To come to Colombia, you must meet the country and the airline’s requirements.
Passport Needs
To come to Colombia, you must have a valid passport. It must be valid for at least six months beyond your arrival date. Check our passport requirements page if your passport is about to expire or is less than six months to pass.
Visa
American and Canadian nationals do not need a visa to enter Colombia. You will be allowed to stay in the country for up to 90 days as a tourist.
To board a flight to Colombia, you will need to do the Migformat. We recommend that this be done at least two days before the trip.
Passport Requirements
To enter Colombia, you need a valid passport
for Canadian and U.S. national passport holders: Your passport must be valid for at least six months before the expiration date. If you plan to stay in Colombia for more than three months and then return to your country of origin, you will need a passport that expires after you leave.
While in Colombia, you should always carry your passport. (or a good photocopy ) with your photo and the entry stamp in the case is need it by Colombian authorities.
